I am a state Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri who has who
has provided services to adults across multiple settings. I have
“front line” experience with direct support as a community support
specialist in outpatient and residential settings, individual and
group substance abuse counseling in Missouri Department of
Corrections; hospital psychiatric counseling, and individual and
group counseling services for trauma, substance abuse, parenting
education, and family therapy. With that I am EMDR trained and fully
licensed.
As the spouse of a combat vet, I also understand the special
challenges that Military Families experience and how the dynamics of
separation impacts everyone in the family unit. My goal is to help
others find workable, realistic solutions to whatever is going on in
their life.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri
State University; a Master of Science in Psychology from University
of Central Missouri at Warrensburg, MO where I earned life -time
membership to of Psi-Chi; and later earned a Master of Arts in
Professional Counseling at Amridge University where I graduated
Magna Cum Laude. I am a member of the American Counselor
Association.
